We use the details you give us to reply, quote and build what you asked for. We don't sell them, and you can ask to see, fix or delete them at any time.
Who we are

What we collect
- When you ask for a build or sign up for training: your name, your business, your email or WhatsApp number, the options you picked and anything you write to us.
- When you become a client: what you tell us by email, phone or WhatsApp, the requests you send through your build board, and the quotes and invoices that follow.
This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies.
Data we run for our clients
When we build and run a system for your business, it holds your customers' and staff's details. You decide what goes in and why. In POPIA terms you're the responsible party and we're your operator: we use that data only to run your system, on your instructions, and we don't use it for anything of our own.
Why we use it
To answer you, quote, build and support your system, invoice you, and keep the records the law asks us to keep.
Who else sees it
- The companies that run our systems: Netlify (websites and forms), Google (our email and the spreadsheets and scripts our systems run on) and Cloudflare (our domain).
- AI tools that help us sort requests and draft replies. A person checks every reply before it's sent.
Some of these companies store data outside South Africa, mostly in the United States and Europe. We only use providers that are bound by data-protection terms of their own.
How long we keep it
Quotes, invoices and the records behind them stay for five years, because South African tax law requires it. Everything else we keep while it's useful to you, and we delete it sooner if you ask.
Your rights
Under POPIA you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or tell us to stop using it for marketing. Email hello@thinksforyou.com and we'll answer within 30 days.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za or POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za.
Keeping it safe
Our systems sit behind logins, and only the people who need your details can see them. If your details are ever exposed, we'll tell you and the Information Regulator, as the law requires.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
